Day 1: Singapore - Moscow (Via Shanghai) (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/Meal On Board) (Fly By China Eastern Airlines)
Begin your vacation with a pleasant flight to Shanghai, China. Upon arrival, we will have our breakfast and begin our city tour of Shanghai. After lunch, proceed back to airport for flight to Moscow. We will arrive at Moscow at about 2000hrs. Accommodation: Moscow.
Day 2: Moscow - St.Petersburg (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
This morning, the first stop is Kremlin, a city adorned with medieval towers and cathedrals, palaces and a big bell tower. We will visit the 3 Famous Kremlin Cathedrals. The Cathedral of Assumption (Cathedral of the Dormition), Cathedral of the Aunnunciation and the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael. The Cathedral of the Dormition was completed in 1479 to be the main church of Moscow and where all the Tsars were crowned. The massive limestone facade, capped with its five golden cupolas was the design of Fioravanti. The gilded, three-domed Cathedral of the Annunciation was completed next in 1489, only to be reconstructed to a nine-domed design a century later. On the south-east of the square is the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael (1508), where over fifty members of the Russian Royal families are interred.
Day 3: St.Petersburg (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Arrive in St.Petersburg early in the morning. The majestic appearance of St.Petersburg is achieved through a variety of architectural details including long, straight boulevards, vast spaces, gardens and parks, decorative wrought-iron fences, monuments and decorative sculptures. Followed by a visit to The Smolny Institute. It is the Palladian edifice in St.Petersburg, which has played a major part in the Russian History. The building was commissioned to Giacomo Quarenghi by the Society for Education of Noble Maidens and constructed in 1806-08 to house the Smolny Institute for Noble Maidens, established at the urging of Ivan Betskoy in 1764 and borrowing its name from the nearby Smolny Convent. A nice garden and iron-work grille around the institute date from the early 19th century. Also visit the Naval Cathedral of St.Nicholas (1753-1762), probably the most illustrious of imperial palaces. It is a huge building with dazzlingly luxurious interiors and houses the Hermitage Museum. You may choose to join an optional tour to watch ballet performance or take a cruise after dinner. Day 4: St.Petersburg - Moscow (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to the majestic Summer Palace, Peter's main residence in the city that is perfectly preserved. Once known as Petershof, it is world famous for its golden Grand Cascade-a steep fall of 64 gilded fountains flowing in front of the Grand Palace (fountains may not operate in winter). After lunch, we will visit the Church of the Savior on Blood (1883 - 1907), a gorgeous monument in the old Russian Style which marks the spot of Alexander II's assassination. Another magnificent church in the Empire style is the Kazan Cathedral (1801 - 1811), situated on the Nevsky Prospekt and modelled after St.Peter's, Vatican. After dinner, proceed to "Ni Wa" shopping centre. This evening, we will take an overnight train ride back to Moscow. Accommodation: On the train.
Day 5: Moscow (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, begin with a city tour. We will bring you to visit The Lie Ning Mountain and Victory Square build for victory on World War II. In afternoon, we will visit the Moscow University. Accommodation: Moscow.
Day 6: Moscow - Shanghai (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/MEAL ON BOARD)
After breakfast, we will visit the Government of Russia Building. After that, we bring you to visit to The National Exhibition (Disneyland of Russia). After lunch, free at leisure to do shopping on the walking street-Albat Street. Accommodation: On Airplane.
Day 7: Shanghai (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Arrive at Shanghai at about 1040hrs, then proceed to visit the world famous Shanghai Bund. This 1.5m long Bund has since been transformed into one of East Asia's major financial hubs. After that, we will visit The Oriental Pearl Tower. Standing at 468m tall, The Oriental Pearl tower ins the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third tallest in the world. We will check-in to our hotel after lunch and after, proceed to Nanjing Road, which is reputed as being the Number 1 Commercial Street in China and also as a shopping paradise. In the evening, enjoy a local delicacy meal for Dinner. Accommodation: Shanghai
Day 8: Shanghai - Singapore (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast, free at leisure for you to shop at Xiu Ya Shopping Centre. After lunch, be transferred to the airport for flight back to Singapore.
